Wicked Game is the first release in the Alternative Sonic Visions series, an ongoing project exploring how production, arrangement and sound design can reshape the emotional world surrounding familiar songs. Rather than recreating the original recording, the project reimagines Chris Isaak's classic through a darker, more cinematic lens, combining atmospheric synthesis, expansive spatial textures and contemporary production techniques. The release serves as both a creative reinterpretation and a study in how sonic choices can alter perception, mood and narrative while retaining the essence of a well-known song.
Mayah Camara — Dreamlover (Album, May 2026)

Dreamlover is a 12-track collaboration between Matt Catlow and Mayah Camara, shaped over several years as a cohesive body of retro-inspired pop and soul work. Drawing heavily from the textures and emotional sensibilities of 80s records, the project blends analogue warmth with modern production detail — combining vintage drum boxes, FM synthesis, analogue bass layering and wide vocal harmonies. Tracks lean into groove-driven arrangements and period-inspired instrumentation while maintaining a contemporary finish through tools such as Omnisphere, Diva, Serum and vintage-modelled synthesis throughout.
Hullah — Roads (m@tc@t 'Back to the City' Remix) - April 2026
Remixed • Produced • Mixed & Mastered
m@tc@t (Matt Catlow) reworks HULLAH’s introspective, electro-infused ‘Roads’ from the Wavestate EP with a darker, more club-focused intent. The remix reframes the original’s late-night journey — shifting from post-rave reflection back toward the dancefloor.
A driving low-end and textured synth work push the track toward a more dystopian, heads-down energy.
The release also marks the start of a new chapter between long-time collaborators m@tc@t and HULLAH, with further material planned across 2026.
