March 2025 - Amplify Us Workshop - Seeds of Change Podcast
Throughout February Amplify Us delivered a series of podcasting workshops in partnership with The Advocacy Academy in Brixton. The resulting "Seeds of Change" Podcast is a thought-provoking discussion where young activists explore critical issues like gentrification, advocacy, and the role of community in shaping the future. February 2025 - Hedgeriders - Villagelands (EP)
Hedgeriders is a five-piece acoustic pop-folk band from Felixstowe in Suffolk. I've spent much of February mixing their debut EP "Villagelands" and it was a great experience working on their fantastic songs. “Passing our recordings on to Matt for final mixing and production was one of our band’s best decisions! Matt has really enhanced our recording with some creative ideas, including extra percussion, while always remaining responsive to our requests to try different sounds and mixes. The difference between our recordings pre and post-production is very marked, and our final set of songs would have been much the poorer without his involvement.” - Lyn (Band Leader)
January 2025 - Celebration of Success! - Loving on Myself
The year has kicked off with exciting news—our latest streaming figures show that "Loving on Myself" is approaching 2 million streams across all platforms! My collaboration with Rochelle Williams began back in 2019 during the recording of Paradox's Hip-Hop EP "Box of Paradoxes" at Endell Street Studio. December 2024 - Amplify Us Workshop - The Young Reel Podcast
In December Amplify Us delivered our first series of podcasting workshops at Chestnut Grove Academy in South London. Our podcasting workshops are designed to empower young people to share their stories, discuss important issues, and connect with their communities. We can deliver a series of 2-3 hour sessions in any school or youth organisation that covers a range of activities and encourages young people to create their own podcast

November 2024 - Hullah - Wavestate (EP)
I first met Charley (Hullah) in 2015 when I was based at Endell Street Studio in London and we worked on a few tracks through a partnership with the Amy Winehouse Foundation. Since then Charley has blossomed as a songwriter and producer and my role is now primarily that of mixing engineer, with occasional co-production ideas. "WAVESTATE is project that blends songs and spoken-word soundscapes, capturing the rollercoaster of emotions that come with being in your 20s. It touches on everything from mental health struggles and living with ankylosing spondylitis to the everyday challenges of relationships and city life, all set to the backdrop of electro and synthpop sounds." October 2024 - Dekay - SWIM (Album)
I've worked on many of Dekay's albums in the past as a producer and mixing engineer and for the latest album "SWIM" I produced 2 of the tracks and mixed the rest of the album with other producers coming onboard. Dekay: This is my fourteenth album and it documents a particularly nightmarish hell of a time in my adult life, deep in the fever dream that is high functioning alcoholism. I really hope it helps some of you that are going through the same thing, but I wrote this for myself. After all, there's only so long you can drown for before you sink or swim. September 2024 - Amplify Us CIC - Raising Young Voices through podcasting and creative arts
Amplify Us empowers and raises the voices of young people and those from underrepresented communities through podcasting and other creative platforms. Through engaging in our workshops and producing content, participants develop skills and confidence and create peer and community networks. We've just received start-up funding from Big Issue Invest so over the next 6 months we'll be running our initial pilot programmes and we're looking to network and collaborate with youth organisations across London so please feel free to get in touch and follow us on Instagram and LinkedIn

September 2024 - Dekay - Cinderella Video
Dekay - Cinderella - Released in September 2024 the video for Cinderella was directed by Jimmy Chiba and filmed in Camden, London over the summer. Taken from the album Grimm Raps, which I produced for Dekay in 2022, Cinderella is one of 12 classic fairytales rewritten in rap format and modernised for the Grimm Raps album. April 2024 - Location Recording and mixing for ASMF SoundWalk
In February & March 2024 I visited St Anne's Church in Soho, London for a series of location recordings for the Soundwalk project "A City Full of Stories." Feb/March 2024 - Sound Design for Furtherfield's Cosmic Arts Copyright Convention
Furtherfield's research LARPs (Live-Action Role Plays) explore and test the local and global consequences of advanced technologies for human and more-than-human interests. The Cosmic Arts Copyright Convention explores how a transformation of copyright law, might create more equitable systems for all beings. I was on the team as a sound designer for this project
Music & Sound Design
Four ET Auditors – The Silicon Entity, The Mycelial Entity, The Aquatic Entity (right), and The Solar Entity – have been appointed by the Cosmic Confederation of Universal Beings (CCUBs) to transmit curious questions to each of the Congress Committees which are dedicated to: sentience/labour justice, knowledge justice, global majority justice, and climate justice.
