ABOUT / CONTACT
Matt Catlow — Music Producer & Mix Engineer
Neo-Soul · Pop · Retro-Influenced Production & Collaboration

I’m a Brighton-based producer and mix engineer working primarily within neo-soul and pop, often drawing on the warmth and structure of retro soul and synth-led textures.
My focus is collaborative — shaping records around the emotional centre of an artist’s voice rather than imposing a fixed sound. Projects often begin with references, sketches, or early ideas and evolve through careful development, refining arrangement and building production that feels intentional and durable.
Experience
Producing music for over 30 years, with professional production and mixing credits since 2010.
Selected Collaborations
Anna Ross (Pop) — Co-writer & producer on both solo albums.
(Currently touring with Duran Duran.)
Rochelle Williams (Neo-Soul) — Ongoing collaboration including the single Loving on Myself and recent EP releases.
Mayah Camara (Retro 80s Pop/Soul) — Full-length album due for release March 2026.
Wordburglar (Hip Hop) — Production work under the pseudonym Milk-Plus across multiple releases, including sync placement in the Netflix series Kim’s Convenience (2016–2021).
